Wildland / Urban Interface

The Placer Fire Equipment Wildland/Urban Interface Pumper is the most innovative design of this type of fire apparatus in the last 25 years. Its compact design gives you the flexibility to do all Wildland/Urban interface firefighting operations yet have a rated pump system for ISO requirements if desired.

This apparatus combines a 175” wheelbase, lowest center of gravity, and the most compartment space of any Type 3 Wildland/Urban Interface apparatus manufactured today. Pump sizes range from 500 to 1250 GPM with a diesel driven pump and roll pump.

The body mounting system consisting of a 4-point spring mounted system allows the body to flex and move in the harshest off-road environments.

The Placer Fire Equipment developed the integral 304L stainless steel inverted T-tank water tank design allows for over 140 cubic feet of compartment space in our standard model. This tank design also gives the apparatus body the lowest center of gravity available today.
